Mahindra launches premium e-mobility service Glyd

Mahindra & Mahindra launched the electric mobility service Glyd in Mumbai on Monday. Managing director Pawan Goenka flagged off the first batch of 10 e-Verito electric sedans.

Dubbed as a premium technology-based e-mobility service, Glyd will offer a premium in-commute experience to office-going executives. The service will include features such as web-conferencing, curated entertainment and music content from selective partners. For the launch of the service, Glyd has partnered with Vodafone-Idea Limited, Cisco Systems Limited and other service & content providers.

M&M Managing Director Dr Pawan Goenka said in a statement, "The company has from time to time provided innovatively and first of its kind e-mobility solutions. Glyd is one such flagship premium e-mobility solution to redefine the in-commute experience of daily commuters. Going forward we plan to launch multiple e-mobility solutions, across cities," Goenka said.

In 2017, Mahindra had tied up with Ola to run a pilot project for electric mobility in Nagpur. The company plans to launch multiple e-mobility solutions across cities.
