Tiger Global Management, the New York-based investment powerhouse has invested USD 200 million in ed-tech major Think and Learn, which owns and operates K-12 learning app Byju’s, a transaction that will value the Bengaluru-headquartered unicorn at about USD 8 billion.

However, according to two sources briefed on the developments, Tiger Global, one of the most influential investors in the Indian startup ecosystem, has been in talks to invest in Byju’s for the past few months.
