Tech Mahindra bags USD 800 Mn contract from Jackson Life Insurance

Tech Mahindra has signed nearly USD 800 million deal from Jackson National Life Insurance, an indirect subsidiary of British insurer Prudential.

With this, Tech Mahindra, which has traditionally had a stronghold in the telecom space, has won its largest deal ever in the banking and financial services space, and now will be seen as a challenger in the segment.

Jackson's spokesperson said, "Jackson and its sister company, Prudential Corporation Asia (PCA), have signed a global services agreement with Tech Mahindra. Under the agreement, Tech Mahindra will provide technology support and services to Jackson, as well as Prudential plc’s life and asset management businesses across Asia. As a leading provider of retirement products in the US, Jackson continually evaluates and improves its business processes to meet fast-changing customer needs. By entrusting our day-to-day IT operations to Tech Mahindra, we can leverage their Client-centric solutions to improve productivity and scalability
