Indian e-commerce unicorn *Flipkart** is reported to have raised USD 37.06 million as Series J funds from The Times Group. Further details on the funding round were not immediately available.

Bangalore-based online jewellery brand *Melorra** has raised an undisclosed amount as Series A funding from Lightbox Ventures. Further details on the round were not immediately available.

Noida-based online fashion retail platform *Modeststreet** raised an undisclosed sum as Angel funds from undisclosed investors. Further details on the funding round were not immediately available.

Delhi-based healthtech startup *Visit** has raised an undisclosed amount as Angel funding from unnamed investors. Further details on the funding round were not immediately available

August 27: Delhi-based sports social engagement platform *Rooter** has raised USD 0.64 million as Seed funds from Venture Catalysts. The funds will be used to expand the company’s reach.

Bangalore-based fintech *Shubhloans** has raised USD 4.2 million as Series A funds from a host of investors including Saama Capital,SRI Capital,Beenext and Pravega Ventures. The venture plans to use the funds to enhance its technology and build a data science team.

Bangalore-based fintech *Zest Money** has bagged USD 13.40 million as Series A funds from a bunch of investors that included Xiaomi, PayU, Ribbit Capital and Omidyar Network. The company plans to use the proceeds to automate the money collection process on its platform.

Indian payment e-commerce platform *Paytm** has received an undisclosed amount as Series F investment from Berkshire Hathaway. The investment will help Paytm maintain market lead over rival UPIs like Flipkart’s PhonePe and the Google-owned Google Pay.

August 28: Mumbai-based *Propshop24**, an online marketplace for home and office merchandise has raised USD 0.50 million as Seed investment from undisclosed investors. The fund utililzation details were not immediately available.

Mumbai-based online lifestyle and entertainment content platform *MissMalini** has raised USD 1.40 million as Seed funding from a clutch of investors including Saama Capital,SRI capital, Beenext and Pravega Ventures. Among other things, the company plans to use the funds to generate vernacular content.

Delhi-based vernacular health information platform *Myupchar** has raised USD 5 million in Series A funding round from multiple investors including Nexus Venture Partners, Omidyar Network and Shunwei Capital. The funds will be used to refine the company’s technology.

August 29: Bangalore-based logistics marketplace *Blowhorn** has raised USD 0.71 million in Series A round from Michael & Susan Dell Foundation. The company plans to use the proceeds to expand its business.

August 30: Delhi-based online education material marketplace *Notesgen** raised USD 0.18 million as Seed funds from undisclosed investors. The company plans to use the proceeds to develop its platform and improve its marketing.

Gurgaon-based logistic tech startup *Wheelseye** has bagged USD 1 million as Seed funds from Prime Venture Partners. The funds will be deployed by the startup to refine its product.
