Instagram may soon add Hindi language support for Indian users

Instagram is planning to expand its user base in India by adding Hindi support to the app. The new feature was spotted by an app researcher, Jane Manchun Wong, in a beta version of Instagram. The comments, settings, profile and IGTV sections will be in Hindi.

WhatsApp, which is owned by Facebook, already supports multiple languages. Facebook has also launched India-centric features. And nstagram, the photo-sharing app- also owned by Facebook, will soon join the club.

The 2018 data reveals that India serves as one of the biggest markets for Facebook with about 294 million users, and that’s why the social media giant has lately been pushing India-centric updates across all its platforms.
