Ed-tech company Genius Corner Educom Pvt. Ltd has raised Rs 2 crore (USD278,000) from a clutch of angel investors. Individual investors Ranbir Singh, Mahesh Mohta, Lakshmikantan Sundereswaran, Dipak Varshney and Puneet Garg made the investment, the startup said.
Vishal Khatter, co-founder of the venture, said the funds will be used for geographical expansion as well as to augment the machine learning backbone of the platform. Varshney, one of the investors, said artificial intelligence-based personalised learning will benefit both students and educational institutions. Genius Corner was founded in 2014 by Vishal and Dheeraj Khattar, and Samrat Chauhan.
